The Ventura City Council on March 24 adopted the Fiscal Year 2027 to 2031 Capital Improvement Program after a public hearing, adding 17 new projects to the city's five-year infrastructure plan.
According to the March 24 agenda packet, the resolution adds projects FA18-1105, FA22-1268, PM20-1163, PM21-1185, WW16-1097, WW18-1129, WW20-1175, WA18-1133, WA18-1139, WA18-1140, WA18-1144, WA18-1148, WA20-1179, WA23-1254, WA23-1257, WA26-1278, WA26-1289 and WA26-1292.
Public Works Director Charles W. Ebeling brought the recommendation. Council conducted the public hearing on the amended proposed program before adopting the resolution.
That packet did not include the dollar amount of the full program, individual project budgets, anticipated start dates, or descriptions of what each project entails. Staff reports filed when individual projects come up for action will provide that detail.
Ventura's Capital Improvement Program is the city's five-year planning document for major infrastructure projects.
No further council action on the FY 2027 to 2031 program is currently scheduled.
