Ventura council approves $71K Konica Minolta OnBase upgrade for $650K cap
The fourth amendment extends the city's content management contract through May 2027 and lifts maintenance fees on the OnBase system.

The Ventura City Council on April 14 approved a fourth amendment to its Master Services Agreement with Konica Minolta, adding $61,070 in upgrade costs plus up to $9,934 in contingency funding for a total cap of $650,589.
That amendment also extends Master Services Agreement 2017-007 to May 31, 2027 and increases maintenance fees on the city's Enterprise Content Management System, OnBase, to $38,273.
According to the April 14 agenda packet, Chief Technology Officer Mike Shaffer brought the recommendation. The contract was approved on consent.
OnBase is the city's enterprise content management system, used for storing and managing city documents and records. The agenda packet did not detail the scope of the upgrade, the specific OnBase modules being modified, or the rationale for the maintenance fee increase.
For city operations, the contract continuity through May 2027 ensures support for the records and document workflows that depend on the OnBase system.
No further council action on the Konica Minolta agreement is currently scheduled.
