Three arrested in Thousand Oaks pool-area assault

Ventura County Sheriff's detectives arrested three men for a violent assault at the Oakview Apartment Homes complex in Thousand Oaks in the early morning hours of Aug. 28.
The incident. At approximately 2:15 a.m., a security guard responded to the apartment complex pool area regarding a noise disturbance. Several individuals were contacted and advised to quiet down and leave the area, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
A short time later, the security guard heard yelling and observed an adult male victim being assaulted near the pool and barbecue area. The victim was knocked to the ground and punched, kicked, and stomped by multiple individuals, the department said. The victim sustained injuries to his head, face, and body.
The arrests. Detectives identified and arrested three suspects: Julio Trevino, 29, of Thousand Oaks; Adan Domingo, 30, of Thousand Oaks; and Ivan Domingo, 24, of Thousand Oaks. All three were booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility for assault likely to produce great bodily injury, according to the Sept. 2 news release.
Seeking witnesses. Detectives are asking for the public's assistance and are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was in the pool or barbecue area, observed the incident, saw individuals leaving the area, or may have photographs, video, or other information related to the assault.
